How to Claim NEA’s Hawkers’ Productivity Grant (HPG)

Following the approval of the HPG grant application and receiving the Letter of Offer (LOO) from NEA, learn how to submit the claims for the HPG below.

Acceptance of LOO & Making Purchase

Step 1: Accepting the Letter of Offer

The Letter of Offer (LOO) issued by NEA has a validity of only 30 days. Upon receipt, you must complete, sign, and return the original hard copy to NEA. Failing to submit within the due date may result in the offer being lapsed.

The completed hard copy must be submitted to NEA at:

Step 2: Making your purchase

Purchase the equipment within 2 months from the date of the LOO, and prior to claim submission, must have used the equipment for at least 1 month.

Claim & Disbursement Submission

Step 3: Submitting Your Claim

Within 2 months from the date of the LOO, you should have already purchased, and used the equipment for at least 1 month, prior to submitting the disbursement request form (which is attached together with your LOO).

Required documents to be submitted together with the disbursement request form would be the original hard copies of:

  • Signed Disbursement Request Form
  • Signed Direct Credit Authorisation (DCS) Form
  • Itemised Receipt & Invoice (provided by Vendor)
  • Remarks (if any)

Documents must be sent in original hardcopy, either by post or hand delivered.

Step 4: Await Claim Disbursements

Subject to all information and documents submitted in order; NEA shall disburse the eligible amount within 30 days by Interbank GIRO.
